Why it exists
Most board games are made to be put away.
A printed box, plastic pieces, a hinge that gives out. Played twice, then the cupboard.
We wanted the opposite: a board handsome enough to live in the room and solid enough that nobody bothers putting it away.
What it is made of
Leather outside. Oak where the game happens.
Crocodile-embossed leather around a pale oak field, with inlaid leather points, weighted checkers and lined racks. Open, it takes the coffee table. Closed, it has the footprint of a slim briefcase.

Where the maker’s name would go, we put yours.
Brass type, gold foil, struck under pressure. You approve the exact proof before anything becomes permanent.

Made to order

Nothing is cut until your name comes in. Then the field is laid, the case finished, the name pressed and the brass plaque numbered.

Where it came from
The board in the same corner every Christmas.
Years pass, houses change, and what stays with you is oddly specific: the sound of the pieces, your dad taking too long to move, somebody keeping score on a scrap of paper. We made the board we went looking for when that one was gone.

What can I put on the board?
Up to three initials, a family or house name, or club or company initials. For a crest, logo or multiple boards, write to us before ordering.
Can I approve the name first?
Yes. We email the exact production proof and nothing is pressed until you approve it.
How long does it take?
Allow two to four weeks from order to doorstep. Tracked U.S. delivery is included.
Is it made to be played?
Very much so. It is tournament size, the checkers are weighted and the racks are lined. A scratched corner is not a tragedy here.
Can a personalised board be returned?
If it arrives damaged, faulty or different from your approved proof, we replace or refund it. Personalised boards cannot be returned for a change of mind.
